this week, jeff and i were participating in a contest to win a photography giveaway. we were trying to think of an appealing way to catch people's eye to help gain more votes. we came up with the idea to make up a sign that said "vote for andrea & jeff" and have it look like a silhouette for a FB page. as i was going to grab markers from my desk i saw sidewalk chalk. this sparked an idea that we should write on the street the same thing and use as a cover photo.
i know that this sounds weird... but it felt so good to let a little creative juices flow. for the past 3 years, it has been non stop school. fall, spring, summer... fall, spring, summer........... fall... spring... and this summer i am planning a family reunion and a wedding. i haven't really had time to just be creative because every ounce of energy i have had goes toward studying, projects, papers, etc.
i am looking forward to the day when i won't have to worry about tests, projects, flashcards, textbooks, etc. and i can channel that focus into something fun, artsy, creative.
there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
3 more semesters... and my undergrad will be behind me.
