this thanksgiving week jeff and i have both felt crummier than crummy. he got sick earlier in the week, and despite our best efforts to contain the situation...somehow it got to me. luckily thursday and friday we were both doing ok. saturday however... this blessed crummy-ness has kept me pretty much confined to my bed. my energy level has been significantly low, along with my body temperature (seriously with my heat blanket on jeff is convinced it is 1000 degrees in here but i assure him it is only like 70 at max), and there is so much pressure in my head that i might weigh a couple more pounds than it's supposed to.
my boys love when i'm sick but only for two reasons: hurley loves the extra snuggle time, and jeff loves the funny faces i make when i'm confused, distraught, etc.
the point of this post is to share this comment my sweetheart made earlier today. he looked at me and said, "babe, when you are pregnant i want you to know that i will be right here taking care of you." that pretty much melted my heart and made me fall in love with him even more. our kids are so lucky to have him as a daddy. he is going to be a great one.

sidenote: i realized is this post title could be misleading... so just to clarify, we are not pregnant. nor are we trying at this point in time to get pregnant.
one more sidenote: if you haven't seen the movie "what to expect when you're expecting" you should go redbox it. it is so funny.

Andrea you and Jeff are going to be great parents when you decide to have children. Enjoy your time with Jeff without children, because once you decide to have them, then you will never have time like this again. I am so happy for you guys and with you all the best!
Expecting, or not, that picture is great!
