About a month ago, Tara and I were talking about how much fun it would be to go up to Pineview and go swimming/boating. Basically just "spend a day at the lake." We invited anyone to come. We had about 15 people come. We met at WinCo to carpool and some met us there later after they got off work. These aren't pictures of everyone... but at least I documented something. :)
Amber and Alycia.
I know Amb from my old ward and she is such a fun person to be around. Alycia is on council with me and is the co-chair of the activities committee. So glad they could both come!
Aaron on the left is a funny funny kid. He has special needs and is ALWAYS laughing! haha! He always says, "What's uuupppp??" and then pounds your fist. His new favorite word is "ridonk-a-lous" haha! It kills me! :)
My little Tara :)
We went out on the paddle boat a couple times and one of the times we went out just us two. It gave us time to chat alone which was great. Tara had/has been struggling about whether or not to move or stay living with her mom. She almost signed a contract to live closer to campus. The night before she was going to sign, she got this sick feeling in her stomach, prayed to the Lord, and woke up with that same sick feeling. She knew that was the Lord telling her this move was not the best for her right now. We talked about that for a little bit. Soon, Ammon and Julius swam out to where we were, and jumped in our paddle boat. Tara and I were about half way to the buoy. We had life jackets on so it wasn't too bad. It felt sooooo nice to be outside. To be in the water. And to be with friends.
Caleb eating some Doritos, blocking the sun for me with his body, and blocking the sun for amber with the bag of chips. What a good friend huh?? :)
Me and miss Julene. She is the funniest girl! love her!
It was a great afternoon.
5 hours of outdoor fun! We are going every week until school starts!
I can't wait!
