compliments

i have been getting a lot of compliments lately.

i frequently get compliments on my clothes and i love it!

one girl even gave me one in the bathroom, and we have now become friends -- awesome right?! :)

i love my style.

i would say that i am a mix of classy, sophisticated, yet still relaxed.

it is just...me. :)

so thank you all for my compliments. :)

they mean a lot to me!

another couple compliments i have received that are really special to me are:

1. from one of my father figures: he told me that my eyes sparkled and had a special light with them. no. not cheesy. very much sincerity. 

2.some girls in my institute class helping an institute teacher: i had stopped to say hi to them and they had said, "andrea, you always look so cute and so stylish. i love your clothes." THANK YOU! we were talking about a few things and then...

3. one of the institute teachers that the girls were helping: he was out in front of the institute building making oatmeal for those passing by. as the girls and i were talking he slowly joined the conversation. one of the girls asked if she could add me on facebook, i told her "of course!" and said that i was on a FB break so i wouldn't accept the add right away, but i would soon. he was very curious to hear someone from my generation saying i was taking a break from FACEBOOK *gasp* haha! anyway, he thought it was interesting and he and i started talking about texting and how much of a convenience it is, etc. and as i was saying my goodbye's and heading to work he says to me, "you have a great spirit about you. you really do." and for someone that i haven't spent more than 5 minutes talking to maybe, let alone an institute teacher who works with amazing young adults every day of his life, meant a lot for me.

again, it was complete sincerity.

a couple of my goals in life are to:

1. smile at people i pass by every day.

2. give sincere compliments.
